HYDRO-PNEUMATIC SYSTEM (MHN)
Mipa
Electronic & Electrical Co is an ISO 9001 certified company enagaged
in manufacturing of variety of multistage pumps. MHN consists of Pumping
system selected from vide range of available multistage pumps to operate
for optimum efficiency. This is coupled with pressure tank and accessories
designed to match the system requirements. The Control system of MHN is
designed and manufactured using sensors, which controls the operation of
pumps. Wide range of protections in MHN guarantees trouble-free smooth
running of system. Depending on applications MHN can be reconfigured for
optimum performance.
Features
MHN uses separate
MCB for each pump, which prevents any damage due to Short Circuits in
the system.
Overload
protection is achieved
by the standard thermal overload protection provided in the starter
separately for each pump. This can be set to desired value depending upon
the motor rating.
Individual
equipments are protected from the single phasing by allowing
thermal overload relay to trip when the current increases due to single
phasing
MHN incorporates low-level
alarms for the system. It also protects the system from dry running
when the suction tank is empty.
Providing change over from one stand by to another is unique feature of MHN. This ensures that both the pumps are put to equal use.The system also allows the stand by pump to be used as an additional pump during peak load.
MHN
detects
dry run (for
pump)
and
resolves it by automatically priming the pump.
MHN
continuously displays electrical parameters and the
load
characteristics of the motor when it is running.
MHN
also provides indicators for mechanical seal failure, priming failure,
overload.
The
concept behind MHN is to maintain constant pressure at the outlet
irrespective of the fluctuations. MHN constantly monitors the system
pressure and acts according to the change in pressure.
· MHN monitors the “Rapid Cycle” (length of acceptable minimum pump run time) feature and allows for a manual or cycle reset. This means that when a rapid cycle is detected for a frequency set by the system the pump is turned off and it will remain off until it is manually reset. Undetected “short cycling” can lead to multiple problems such as water hammer, contact failure, stripped splines or couplings, broken pump or motor shafts, and ultimately system failure
